I sorta met Josh at Desperate Measures. I was in the back where they all had to run, and he tripped and fell down right infront of me. He said “Oh fuck me.” as he fell and I mummbled “gladly” he heard me and looked up and so I started panicing and just said “nice going Josh.” he laughed.
Ian also almost knocked me over, I fell on him, and I got a high five from him.

So I was talking to my friend I haven’t spoken to in a long time. We started chatting about Marianas Trench and she told me that I should “check out mtrenchblog on Tumblr then.” Hahahah~
At the NYC show, we ran into one of my friends that I didn’t know even liked Marianas Trench and it was a pretty cool surprise. Her friend got the setlist.
Yeah, I was jealous.
The set was cut short because Josh (according to Ian) has vertigo and doesn’t feel good at all. We are hoping he gets better really soon and appreciate him coming out tonight despite his condition!
The Audition and Marianas Trench put on a fantastic performance~
Phenomenal concert!! So many Trenchers! Insanely fun crowd :)
For the GYHO Tour Jenny and I took a bus to NYC and were there relatively early. We walked from Port Authority and had trouble finding our way to the Best Buy Theatre even though it was only a block or two away. Eventually, we found our way and got on the short line into the venue. We met these two people there and started having a casual conversation. We ended up getting on the topic of interest; who we were planning to see on tour. We all replied with Marianas Trench. It was a little surprising to see that we weren’t the only ones there mostly for MTrench, and not Simple Plan. Even more to our surprise, there were around 6 other people all there for Marianas Trench and they were all standing around us. Everyone was so nice and all so stoked to see Marianas Trench and it was just great to know that there are actually a decent amount of people in the US (or at least New York) who love Marianas Trench. The two girls we met first were in their twenties and have been MTrench fans for years and were the sweetest and even got us Starbucks while we waited for hours in the rain. And while getting drizzled on in freezing weather, we would catch a glimpse of Josh, Matt, Mike and Ian all at different times. Anyway, after all that, we finally got inside, had a hell of a good time, had Matt smile on stage for one of my pictures, met Matt (and Caleb of FTSK), got a poster signed for my friend and I, got home, slept, then suffered from post-concert depression (;
In December when they came to Toronto I had to take a day off school to see them (My parents knew) and I was like having spasms because I got to see my favourite band perform live!! Who wouldn’t be like that right? I was too young to go inside the Much Music place so I had to wait outside in the pouring rain with my newly dyed Blue bangs. So I was begging and begging for them to come see me!! And even though I wasn’t inside I still got to touch Josh and get Matt’s signature. We were waiting outside the back of the studio for hours after the show to see if we could see them come out! Turns out we had to go back because some ass thought it would be funny to use his car and spray us with water. As soaked as I was, I was determined to see them come out. I couldn’t but either way I got to see them perform, touch Josh as he sang and get Matt’s signature. I still wish I was my friend though because she was supposed to ask the second question (But never got to) and instead Mike kissed her cheek! :O <3 But I love Marianas Trench and I would so do the same thing all over again and even in worse weather. No matter what I would want to go see them!! <3 <3 <3

Well I’ve never had the chance to meet the boys, or even see them live. Yet. But I am planning on going to Bamboozle this year exclusively for them. I’ve only known of the band a few short months, so I can’t say that I’m their biggest fan or things along those lines. However, I can say that in the short while I’ve known them, they’ve grown to be an every day need in my music routine. Their lyrics, especially from the whole album of ‘Fix Me’, speak to me. Finding a good band is hard now, because everything is mainstream and sounds the same, but not MT. And for that I have the utmost respect towards the band, and look forward to having my love for them grow,getting to see them perform and hopefully meet them one day. The ‘Trenchers’ as I believe the fanbase calls themselves, are amazing people, and I hope I grow to be a worthy part of the family. (:

On February 12 , 2012, I went to see my favorite band with Marianas trench with simple plan. And I went super early, I took a walk with my friend who I took with me around the arena out side , saw there tour buses. I went inside and heard Marianas trench have their sound check you could hear porcelain and ever after perfectly. So hours passed and soon we got to go inside. I got the coolest t shirt that shows a picture of the band on the shirt and it says their name and album name on he shirt.TKWC did okay, and ATL did amazing, but nothing really did beat Marianas trench, Josh coming out of that jack in a box . And Josh in the candy apple red metallic skinny jeans. Very was perfect from the props to the fake fog you the whisper sound effects. Needless to say the crowd was defiantly the loudest we ever been. Now to think about it we were the loudest for Marianas trench. Even simple plan didn’t get louder than the trench did. So yeah I watched simple plan they did really good. But I left after the 3rd last song. And when I went outside to see if the band was out there Mike ayley was. I walked up to mike. And all the girl were squealing but mike , Didn’t really pay attention to it , he looked at me straight in the eyes and chatted with me, Of course I mentioned I was a fan since fix me, he seemed happy, and that made me happy. Mike left after a while then ian waved and said Hi. Then Matt came out for a bit I chatted with him for a bit told him he was the inspiration why I play guitar, He signed my Cd and took a pic with me. Josh didn’t come out that night. But I really don’t care that much anymore. Cause at least I met most of my idols. I seriously couldn’t ask for a better night

So this story actually isn’t from GYHO Tour, but I still wanted to share!
When Marianas Trench was on the Glamour Kills Tour in the US last year, I met Ian and we were posing for a picture. While my boyfriend at the time was trying to take the picture, Matt walked by and stopped next to us. He stuck his face in front of the camera and made a face, then turned to smile at me and Ian and continued walking like nothing happened. My boyfriend was standing there and he was really mad like “what’s his problem?!” (he had no idea who he was) while I was over there fangirling and laughing my ass off. Hahahaha. :)
