For the GYHO Tour Jenny and I took a bus to NYC and were there relatively early. We walked from Port Authority and had trouble finding our way to the Best Buy Theatre even though it was only a block or two away. Eventually, we found our way and got on the short line into the venue. We met these two people there and started having a casual conversation. We ended up getting on the topic of interest; who we were planning to see on tour. We all replied with Marianas Trench. It was a little surprising to see that we weren’t the only ones there mostly for MTrench, and not Simple Plan. Even more to our surprise, there were around 6 other people all there for Marianas Trench and they were all standing around us. Everyone was so nice and all so stoked to see Marianas Trench and it was just great to know that there are actually a decent amount of people in the US (or at least New York) who love Marianas Trench. The two girls we met first were in their twenties and have been MTrench fans for years and were the sweetest and even got us Starbucks while we waited for hours in the rain. And while getting drizzled on in freezing weather, we would catch a glimpse of Josh, Matt, Mike and Ian all at different times. Anyway, after all that, we finally got inside, had a hell of a good time, had Matt smile on stage for one of my pictures, met Matt (and Caleb of FTSK), got a poster signed for my friend and I, got home, slept, then suffered from post-concert depression (;
